Job Title:  Project Level/Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Location:  Seattle, WA

Job Description: We are looking for an individual to perform geotechnical engineering analyses, calculations, and evaluations primarily related to new and existing hydropower and water supply dams and reservoirs.  This person will also develop geotechnical engineering recommendations and write geotechnical engineering reports.  Our ideal candidate will be able to perform project management activities including communicating resource needs, planning and delegating work, management of project budgets, invoicing and backlog reporting. The job will include managing client relationships and business development opportunities and proposal preparation. Serving as a senior reviewer for technical work and technical mentoring, this candidate must also have the ability to manage engineers and scientists. Occasionally this person will perform field work such as logging test borings, construction observation and on-site client consultation.

Job Description: We are looking for an individual to perform and/or review stability analyses, reinforced concrete design, and steel design for water and earth retaining structures associated with dams, spillways, and other hydraulic structures.  This person will also prepare and/or review design drawings, reports, and technical specifications, as well as perform inspections of dams and hydraulic structures.  Our ideal candidate will also be able to provide periodic construction observation and consultation.
